Message: “Church in the Mirror: Serving // Burlington” from Pastor Marvin Thomas

A message from the series “Church In The Mirror.” In life, there are things in particular that are simply foundational to everything else we do. When we are aware of a bigger picture, it helps us make the decisions we need to make in life. This is no different when it comes to the life of the church body. More specifically, when it comes to serving like Christ calls us to.

It is foundational that when we call ourselves Christians, it means we are followers of Christ. And when we are followers of Christ, we are meant to serve. As we continue to take a look at our reflection in the mirror as individuals and as a church, we learn that when we minister corporately in our community, it can affect serving as individual people within our church body. Listen to this week’s sermon to know what that can actually look like in our everyday lives.

Message: “Intended for Good: The Life of Joseph // Belmont” from Andrew Berberian

A message from the series “Intended For Good.” The lives that we live each day are part of a larger story. God sees the bigger picture even when we can only see what is right in front of us. What we may perceive as difficult in our lives, God may view as a stepping stone in His greater story for generations to come. What does this actually look like? How do the smaller things that happen in our lives reflect God’s greater plan?

This whole idea has been taking place since the book of Genesis. God has always had the larger view in mind, and He works through the lives here on earth to carry out His plan. With our new sermon series, Intended for Good, we get a close-up view of how God used the life of Joseph for His greater redemptive story. Listen in this week for a fantastic introduction to Joseph’s start in life and how God can take what is meant for evil and turn into good in His time and according to His plan.

Message: “Intended for Good: Temptations // Belmont” from Andrew Berberian

A message from the series “Intended For Good.” Temptation. Just hearing the word itself as Christians can make us cringe or feel uncomfortable. That’s because we know that we all face temptation in our everyday lives. We may not want to deal with it or maybe we simply don’t know how to deal with the temptations that are before us, but as part of our walk, they will come and we need to ready. So what are we to do when faced with a temptation?

In learning about the life of Joseph in our most recent sermon series, Intended for Good, this week we focus on the portion of his life where he was directly faced with temptation. How did Joseph overcome and resist this temptation? Listen in to learn that though the enemy’s intention is to draw us away from Christ, we can still overcome temptations in our life when we face them in the manner that God instructs us to.

Message: “Intended for Good: Forgotten // Belmont” from Pastor Brian Krogh

A message from the series “Intended For Good.” Sometimes we find ourselves in circumstances that we wish we weren’t in. We desire to change the situation or be in a better place with whatever scenario is before us. But what if we looked at our circumstances differently? What if we looked at our happenings through the bigger picture of what God has in store for us?

As we have been learning about the life of Joseph through God’s Word, we have seen him in many different circumstances. Some high moments and other moments that were very low for him. Listen in to this week’s sermon to understand how Joseph continually surrendered himself to God’s call on his life despite the state of affairs he found himself in.
