There is a lot of work to be done for the kingdom of Christ, but few people willing to do the work (Matthew 9:37). So don’t be afraid to simply start serving; there is a place for you. As you serve, trust that God will equip you, guide you, and give you joy for the work. Find delight in doing the things He has planned for you (Ephesians 2:10; Colossians 3:17, 23).

Our Hospitality team has the unique privilege of serving every person who attends Mount Hope. We interact with attendees in the parking lot, hallways, cafe and beyond. Our volunteers can expect to have fun, share community with a team, and play a significant role in remarkable hospitality as we meet people where they are.

Greeters: Welcome guests and members at the door with a warm smile. Provide directions and a welcoming environment for visiting guests.

Café Attendants: Create a welcoming environment in the Café or Fellowship Hall (dependent on location) by preparing and serving coffee and snacks on Sunday morning, all at no charge. This enables our guests and members a place to connect before and after service.

Ushers: Whether more seats are needed on a Sunday morning or a family is looking for a seat or a mom of a crying baby needs help finding the nursery, ushers are the helpers and problem solvers.

The Mount Hope worship team endeavors to be a spirit-filled, worshipping community that is growing in relationship with Christ and one another as they help others to worship the Lord.

The team seeks to worship God in Spirit & Truth (John 4:24, Col 3:16) and to be filled with the Spirit as they relate with God and each other, prioritizing time in the Word and prayer together.

Mount Hope's Kids Adventure (MHKA) team ministers to children from birth through grade 5. Although different ages require different approaches, the mission remains the same: To help kids know that Jesus loves them, and to help them understand they can have a personal relationship with the One who made everything.

We live in a world where values and basic beliefs are challenged every day. Kids need our help to find the truth in Jesus and have the foundation of His truth firmly beneath them.

MHKA creates an environment where kids can have fun, be themselves, and most importantly hear the word of God presented in a vibrant way that they can understand. MHKA leaders live their faith out loud to help kids see Jesus and the love of the Father.

General Needs Team

The primary goal of the Care and Support Team is to connect people in the church with the resources and encouragement that they need. This team is made up of many specified teams as defined below.

Meals Ministry: Provides a meal during or after a hospital stay, a new baby, a death or any other need that may arise.

Prayer Team: Prays for the cares and needs of Mount Hope guests and members.

Cards Ministry: Consists of two teams: Creates handmade cards and writes cards of encouragement and prayer to members of Mount Hope.

General Needs: Many needs arise within the church: someone may need a ride or help moving or maybe you are unable to give financially to our benevolence ministry, but you are able to provide a much-needed service. Let us know that we can add you to a mailing list for when needs arise. Being a part of the list in no way assumes availability.
