Mount Hope Christian Church loves children! We offer children’s programs at both the Belmont and Burlington campuses for children ages birth through grade 5. The classes are organized by age group and are staffed by background-checked volunteers who love sharing the gospel. In class, the children play games, sing songs, create crafts, hear Bible stories, and learn scripture. We offer programs for children every Sunday at each campus.
What to Expect on Sunday
Check In/Drop Off All children must be "checked - in" to attend our Kids Adventure classes during the Sunday worship service. If it's your first time with us, please visit our manned check-in station at the kids check-in station where one of our volunteers will assist you.
- Each child will receive a sticker with their name, any important allergy information and randomly generated alphanumeric code. As a parent or guardian you will receive a pick-up sticker with the matching code.
- Once they are checked-in, all pre-school children up to kindergarten can be brought to their classes before the start of the worship service.
- Children kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to attend the worship portion of our morning service and will be dismissed to Kids Adventure class from the sanctuary. Parents are welcome to accompany their children to the Kids Church room to drop them off.
Pick-up After the service, please return to the classrooms to pick up your children. Please make sure to have your pick-up sticker with you.
Junior Bible Quiz
The goal of Junior Bible Quiz is to plant the Word of God deep in the heart of children, helping them grow close to God. Working with children in JBQ offers valuable time with children and the Word of God. Your greatest reward is to see your child commit himself or herself to God day by day in the decisions he or she makes because of a growing knowledge of Him. Junior Bible Quiz is a tool to help motivate children to learn well the information from the Bible Fact-Pak.
