A message from the series “Work Matters: Pleasing God in Our Work.” As we began our new sermon series last week, it was established that we all take part in work in one way or another. Whether we are in an office, a classroom or in our home, we all have work to do and work that we are called to. As we continue on in the series, we continue to ask what the Bible says about our work. How did God actually demonstrate work to us, His very own image-bearers?
God’s Word clearly points to the places where we see God working and where we see Jesus working while He was here on earth. Throughout the scripture, from beginning to the end, His example is one to be followed. Listen in to this week’s sermon to understand more of how to see the work in front of us as a blessing and not a curse.

A message from the series “Artificial Christmas.” It is true that Christmas brings many feelings along with it each year. Whether it be snuggling by the fire with a good book, a Hallmark movie while drinking hot cocoa or driving around looking at all the lights, there are many scenarios that give us “all the feels” for the season. But as believers, isn’t Christmas supposed to be more than just about the feelings? And shouldn’t the reason for the season affect those around us because of the mere fact that we are believers?

A message from the series “Artificial Christmas.” As children, it’s easy to name what we hope for at Christmas time. Young ones usually have a list that they are hoping to see under the tree on the morning or Christmas. However, as adults, it can be tougher to truly know what we are hoping for. When we get older, we observe more of what is going on in the world and it feels like there really isn’t any hope. Or maybe we go through a time of loss or difficulties and hope is harder to see. So how do we even begin to have hope then? And what does it matter if we have hope or not?
