The word love is thrown around in our culture. We hear it often and used in many different ways. And God's Word has a lot to say about this important word. God did not leave us without instruction when it comes to loving others and how He loves us. So how does His instruction differ from what the world says? How do we go about loving those around us and why is it important through our actions?Within scripture, the Lord has much to say to us through 1 John about how we are to show love to others tangibly, sacrificially and practically. This week's sermon challenges us to love according to Jesus' standards and not according to the world's.
