Dealing with Personal Tragedy

Someone sent me this link to a video of the Chapman family on Good Morning America and how they have dealt with their personal tragedy of their daughter's death when she was accidentally run over by the car her brother was driving. Many people ask why do bad things happen to good people and I have to admit that any answer I try to provide often feels a bit inadequate in the midst of someone's personal tragedy. But, as this family's experience shows faith in God does not make us immune to personal tragedy, but it can take us through them. After you watch the video come back to this blog and post your comments or questions. I would be very interested in reading how some of us process situations like this one. In addition to your comments maybe you would take a couple of minutes to pray for God's continued healing for the Chapman family and for people in your own life who have gone through or are going through a personal tragedy.
