On Thursday morning around 6:00 am Wendy and I welcomed Isabella Jean Picariello into the world. She was 6 pounds 4 ounces, 19 inches long, and pretty much the most beautiful baby in the world. Thank you to all of you who have prayed for us over these last months, both mom and baby are doing well. Isaac is also very excited. His first question when he saw his baby sister was "Why doesn't she talk?"

Wendy and I once again feel incredibly blessed with another child, and yet at the same time incredibly humbled by the awesome responsibility that God has trusted us with. The song "It Ain't Easy" by Jason Upton has ministered to us both these last few days in area of loving our kids (that is the first time I have had to use the plural - weird) the way that God loves us. If you are a parent you might want to check it out and give it a listen. I am sure I will have much more to write in the future about the joys and challenges of parenting, but for now we are all going to try to get some rest.
